Trusts

Trusts can either be set up during lifetime or incorporated into a Will. It is the role of the appointed Trustees to manage the assets on behalf of the beneficiaries according to the terms of the Will or trust deed.

Trusts can be useful to mitigate potential tax liabilities as well as preserve family wealth for future generations and/or vulnerable beneficiaries (such as minors or persons with disabilities).

We have specialist trust lawyers who can assist with establishing trusts and with the ongoing administration of trusts. We work with Accountants with regard to the production of Trust Accounts and with the completion of annual Trust Tax Returns as well as compliance matters.
