The client’s Deputy (his sister) is accused of misappropriating significant funds held in a Deputy’s account that was meant to cover the costs of the client’s care. The client has been forced to seek damages in the County Court for breach of trust. The matter has seen a number of Directions Hearings take place and a significant breach of those Directions to date by the Defendant Deputy. Applications to the Court of Protection will be required to recover the Deputy’s Bond and discharge of the Deputyship Order.

The matter is important to the client as the money in question was for his benefit (ongoing).
