Property Disputes – Planning Objection

Sector

Private owner of substantial country property

How we helped

Initial instructions from our client in this matter were to lodge a planning objection to the development of adjoining agricultural land for a leisure park (wig-wam accommodation). Planning permission was granted and a Judicial Review claim issued to challenge the decision. Specialist planning Counsel was taken (Kevin Leigh of No5 Chambers advised).

The claim is important to the client because of the potential loss of amenity to his otherwise secluded country residence.

Value

No direct financial claim but property value in excess of £1m.
