- Contracts are received from the seller’s solicitor and searches are ordered
- Any necessary enquiries are raised with the seller’s solicitor
- Mortgage offer, survey, replies to enquiries and searches are received and checked, and a full report is provided to you
- We will arrange for you to sign the contract documentation
- Your deposit is paid to us, and a completion date is agreed with seller’s solicitor
- Contracts are exchanged – the purchase is now legally binding
- Mortgage funds and/or the balance of funds to complete are requested
- Completion date – funds are sent to the seller’s solicitor and keys are released
- Post completion formalities are dealt with, such as filing your SDLT return and dealing with the registration at HM Land Registry
