Why did you choose the law?

I was initially interested in the law because it encompasses and regulates nearly everything you could think of and is constantly developing. After securing work experience at law firms I knew a career in law was for me.

Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I studied LLB Law at Aston University and spent my placement year at Band Hatton Button supporting lawyers on their matters. After graduating I re-joined the firm supporting a Partner on their matter at the request of a client and I am now a Paralegal in the Corporate Team.

What does your day job look like?

My days are varied and priorities can change depending on who I am working with. I learn something new every day and support the partners in the department on their matters by drafting and reviewing documentation and working on transactions. I really enjoy the variety of the work and industries clients operate in and I am passionate about expanding my legal knowledge.

What Do You Like to Do Outside of Work?

Outside of work I practice yoga and train at the gym. I love to travel and go for days out with family and friends and enjoy getting lost in a novel and learning through self-help books.
