Why did you choose the law?

I have always been interested in the law and felt that a career in law would help me to grow as a person and present me with challenges – and I love a challenge.

Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I started as a Secretary, then took my Ilex exams and qualified as a Legal Executive. From there I worked hard and progressed over time to become a Partner in the firm. The time has now come to take a step back, although I want to continue working in the law and was fortunate enough to be able to retire as a Partner, but carry on doing what I do supporting the Commercial Team.

What does your day job look like?

I now assist Dina Parmar and Cormac Glynn preparing reports, investigating titles, preparing draft documents and generally helping out with workloads.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy walking, cycling, weight training and Bootcamps. I walk at least 2.5 miles every morning before work – it is a great way to start the day.
