Why did you choose the law?

I studied law at ‘A’ level and enjoyed it so much that it became my chosen subject at university.

Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I joined the firm in August 2012 and am a Partner in our Family Department.

What does your day job look like?

I have a wealth of experience having advised upon all aspects of family law for over 25 years, including divorce, separation, pre-marital agreements (pre-nups), cohabitation and children issues. I often advise on complex financial cases which involve businesses, trusts and pensions.

I genuinely care about clients and strive to take a constructive and cost-effective approach to cases at all times. I have the experience, knowledge and skills to be robust where necessary to achieve the desired outcome. I believe in giving clear and straightforward advice.

I am dedicated to resolving matters through negotiation and am a trained Collaborative Lawyer which allows cases to be resolved at roundtable meetings rather than at Court. The meetings are often hosted at our offices.

I am also a member of Resolution which is an organisation of specialist family lawyers whose aim is to promote a constructive resolution of family disputes.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I was born and raised in Coventry. I am a keen golfer and an enthusiastic motorsport spectator.
