About Me

I joined Band Hatton Button in 2017, from a customer service background and a passion for helping people.

My initial role involved managing new enquiries across the firm, which gave me a valuable insight into the different areas of law we practise and how the business operates. It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know both our clients and colleagues and develop a broad understanding of the firm as a whole.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to be involved in a wide variety of projects and initiatives, which has allowed me to continually learn and develop. Along the way, I discovered a particular interest in compliance, risk management, and helping the firm maintain the high standards that are so important to our clients and colleagues.

My Role

My role is all about helping the firm manage risk, maintain high standards, and ensure we continue to provide the excellent service our clients expect.

I support colleagues across the firm on a wide range of compliance and regulatory matters, including AML, complaints handling, lender panel requirements, and the development of policies and procedures. I also oversee quality standards and accreditations such as Lexcel, working closely with teams across the business to identify risks, improve processes, and support continuous improvement.

A large part of my role involves working collaboratively with colleagues, providing practical guidance and helping them navigate regulatory requirements. Whilst much of my work takes place behind the scenes, it plays an important part in ensuring the firm operates smoothly, maintains the highest professional standards, and continues to deliver the best possible experience for our clients.

What I Enjoy Most

The thing I enjoy most about my role is the variety. No two days are ever quite the same, and there's always a new challenge to get stuck into.

I enjoy finding practical solutions to problems, helping colleagues work through complex issues, and being able to make a positive difference across the firm. It's especially rewarding when improvements to a process or procedure make life easier for both our teams and our clients.

Continuous improvement has always been something I'm passionate about, so I enjoy looking for ways we can do things better, smarter, and more efficiently.

Outside the Office

I love spending time with my family. Music is my biggest passion and something that's always been a big part of my life. I also enjoy reading and can usually be found with my head in a book.
