Unacceptable Behaviour Policy
We adopt a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, threatening, abusive, inappropriate or violent behaviour, or harassment, including sexual harassment by anyone.
Examples might include:
- threatening language or actions
- verbal abuse
- racist, sexist or homophobic language
- all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment
- derogatory remarks
- offensive language
- rudeness
- making inflammatory statements.
Under these circumstances, no member of staff should be required to or feel obliged to deal with any person who has behaved in such a way either face to face, over the phone or in correspondence.
Where unacceptable behaviour is observed, we will raise this with the person concerned. In cases where the unacceptable behaviour persists, escalates, or poses an immediate threat, we may take appropriate measures, including, but not limited to, blocking or restricting any further communications, restricting access to our services, terminating the client or business relationship, or involving legal or regulatory authorities as appropriate.
