About Me

Whilst I have worked in a number of different departments during my legal career, conveyancing is the area I have always found the most rewarding. I enjoy the variety of the work, the fast-paced nature of transactions and the opportunity to help clients through such an important stage of their lives.

Having worked in residential conveyancing for several years, I have developed a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion. I pride myself on being approachable, proactive and responsive, and I aim to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible for every client.

Having been with Band Hatton Button for over 15 years, I have seen the firm grow and evolve whilst benefiting from the opportunities available to develop my own career. The firm has always maintained a friendly and supportive culture, and I particularly value the flexibility and encouragement that have helped me progress professionally over the years.

My Role

As a Conveyancing Executive, I assist clients through all stages of residential property transactions. My day-to-day role includes handling sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, preparing legal documentation, raising and responding to enquiries, liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors, and helping clients progress their transactions through to exchange and completion.

I work closely with colleagues across the Residential Property team and strive to provide a high level of client care, keeping clients updated and informed throughout their matter. I understand the importance of communication during a transaction and aim to be available to answer questions and provide reassurance whenever needed.

What I Enjoy Most

The most rewarding part of my role is helping clients achieve their goals, whether they are purchasing their first home, moving to a new property or selling a family home.

I enjoy the variety that conveyancing brings, as no two transactions are ever quite the same. I particularly enjoy problem-solving and working with all parties involved to overcome issues that arise during a transaction. It is always satisfying to reach exchange and completion, knowing that I have helped clients reach an important milestone.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, our son and our family dog, as well as catching up with friends whenever I can. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places, whether it is a weekend away or a longer holiday.

I find that maintaining a good work-life balance helps me bring a positive and focused approach to my role and the service I provide to clients.
