Leading Coventry law firm Band Hatton Button has elected a new Senior Partner. In April 2022, Nick Button will hand over the role of Senior Partner to Litigation and Dispute Resolution Partner Jon Wilby. Nick, who has represented the firm as Senior Partner for the last 4 years is stepping down from the Board but will continue to work with the firm's commercial property clients, staying on as a Consultant within the business.

Nick started his own practice in Coventry almost 35 years ago and with Jon, was one of the founding partners of Band Hatton Button when their respective firms and Varley Hibbs merged in 2013.

"Like me, Jon has been in practice in Coventry for over 30 years and he is as committed as I am both to this firm and also to the Coventry & Warwickshire community where we have built our careers. I am really pleased that Jon will take on the role of representing Band Hatton Button within that community and I have every confidence that he will ensure that the Firm's reputation and relationships continue to grow fruitfully."

During Nick's time as Senior Partner the Firm has re-located to modern premises and has invested in technology and talent to provide a fulfilling place to work and a quality legal service to clients.

Jon says: "I am really proud of this Firm and the exceptional people that I am fortunate to work with. Nick is hugely popular with colleagues and clients and he will always be a great ambassador for Band Hatton Button. We are all extremely grateful to Nick for the guidance and leadership he has provided and I am looking forward to playing my part in supporting the whole team to continue to flourish and grow together."

Jon will work closely with Mark Moseley, Managing Director to continue to grow and develop the business.
