The client made an employee redundant. Unfortunately, when sending the redundancy money, they made a mistake and paid an additional £10,000.00 into the ex-employees’ bank account. despite numerous letters requesting the return of the overpayment, their letters were ignored. A letter before action has been sent to the ex-employee and they have informed us that they are seeking legal advice.
