About Me

I always wanted to pursue a career in law and have a particular passion for business. I studied for a degree combining Business and Law before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC).
After gaining extensive experience at my previous firm, I joined Band Hatton Button looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to become more involved in the wider development of the firm. Throughout my career, I've worked with landlords, tenants, investors and lenders across everything from lease negotiations to large-scale acquisitions and property development projects.

My Role

As a Partner in the Commercial Property team, I manage a varied caseload covering all aspects of commercial property, alongside managing and supporting a team of junior lawyers and paralegals.

Much of my work involves landlord and tenant matters, including drafting and negotiating leases and ancillary documents, as well as acting for lenders, occupiers and investors on the acquisition, management and disposal of commercial and residential property. I also support clients through property development and regeneration projects.

I work closely with our Corporate team on transactions to ensure the property elements of acquisitions, mergers and disposals run smoothly. I have particular experience within the healthcare sector, helping clients navigate the regulatory and practical challenges surrounding property so they can focus on running their businesses.

Leasehold enfranchisement is another specialist area of my work, where I act for both landlords and tenants and work closely with surveyors to achieve fair and practical solutions.

What I Enjoy Most

I enjoy cutting through legal jargon and finding practical solutions that work for my clients. My clients value my pragmatic and commercial approach, and I enjoy helping them navigate complex property matters with clarity and confidence.
The variety of commercial property is also something I really enjoy, with every transaction presenting different challenges and opportunities to find the right solution for the client.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, I enjoy sport and fitness and I'm a keen football fan, supporting Leicester City as a Leicester girl born and bred. I also enjoy travelling and seeing new parts of the world, with the aim of experiencing as much of it as possible.
