Why did you choose the law?

After finishing school, I was introduced to the subject of Law, when I was employed by a local Law Firm, as an Office Junior, for the Residential and Commercial Property Departments.

Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I started working in the Residential Property Department for Band Hatton Button in November 2016 and in September 2018, I began my studies at Coventry University, by starting the CILEx Paralegal Apprenticeship Level 3 Course. I am currently assisting a Lawyer in the Conveyancing team.

What does your day job look like?

A career in the legal profession has always interested me and working in conveyancing is very fast-paced and is an ever-changing environment, which is what originally attracted me to the department. On an average day my role includes speaking to clients, preparing completions and corresponding with solicitors and estate agents.

What do you like to do outside of work?

When I’m not studying for the Paralegal Apprenticeship, outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and going to the gym and keeping fit.
