Why did you choose the law?
Growing up, my mum was a Paralegal and it made me want to be one and be just like her! As I got older, I decided I wanted to help and support those who are going through tough and upsetting times.
Tell us abit about how you got here?
I started out as a Post Completions Assistant in the Residential Property Department and soon found myself being promoted to Legal Secretary. I then began my CILEX Paralegal Apprenticeship which I completed in 2023 and began working as a Paralegal in the Family department, which I thoroughly enjoy. I am currently studying to become a Family Solicitor through CILEX Law School.
What does your day job look like?
I support the solicitors in the Family Department with booking initial meetings, creating bundles, making enquiries with experts and my favourite part of all, attending court with clients to support them. No day is the same and I am always learning something new from my colleagues!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I enjoy keeping active and regularly go to the gym and for a swim. I also love going on holiday and experiencing different cultures and foods!
