Why did you choose the law?

I always had an interest in anything remotely legal as I was growing up. I then studied law which confirmed my career path. I thrive to build those unique client relationships and knowing clients depend on me to achieve their end goal is extremely rewarding, not to mention challenging!


Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I studied Law at the University of Liverpool and I then secured a place on the Legal practice Course in Birmingham. I was privileged to then be offered a training contract at a firm in Warwickshire. I was not convinced
I would settle in the Midlands but I then met my husband here.

What does your day job look like?

I will prioritise my upcoming completions and any work that needs to be completed in order for them to proceed seamlessly. I then review my emails and post before assessing what other files require attention. I am taking phone calls from clients, agents, financial advisors and solicitors in between to progress matters.

In 2025, I completed a Mental Health First Aid course to become a Mental Health First Aider. The course teaches knowledge and skills for providing first aid support to people who may be experiencing poor mental health.

What Do You Like to Do Outside of Work?

I love spending time with my family and in particular my two small boys who are under the age of 5 so they keep my extremely busy.
