About Me

My journey into law began at Band Hatton Button when I joined the firm on a work experience placement whilst studying for my A-Levels. During that time, I gained first-hand insight into the legal profession and developed a strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution.

Following several further work experience placements, I joined the firm and have progressed within the Litigation team to my current role as Senior Paralegal. Alongside my practical experience, I have undertaken legal studies through CILEX and am currently continuing my development through the Solicitor Apprenticeship programme with BPP University.

Having developed my career at Band Hatton Button, I have gained valuable experience supporting clients and colleagues across a broad range of contentious matters. I am passionate about providing practical, client-focused advice and helping clients navigate what can often be challenging and complex disputes.

My Role

As a Senior Paralegal in the Litigation team, I manage my own caseload and work directly with clients to guide them through the litigation process. I also provide support to the Department as a whole on other matters where required.

My experience includes debt recovery, contractual disputes and personal injury claims. My day-to-day responsibilities include drafting legal documents and correspondence, liaising with clients, counsel and third parties, preparing matters for court, and ensuring cases are progressed efficiently towards a successful outcome.

In addition to my casework responsibilities, I am one of the firm's First Aiders and Mental Health First Aiders, supporting colleagues' wellbeing and helping to promote a positive working environment. I also enjoy building relationships through professional networking and representing the firm within the local business community.

What I Enjoy Most

What I enjoy most about my role is the variety that litigation offers. Every dispute brings its own challenges, requiring a different approach and an understanding of each client's objectives.

I find it particularly rewarding to help clients work towards a resolution of their dispute and to play a part in achieving positive outcomes. I enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and counsel to solve problems, overcome challenges and continually develop my legal knowledge and experience.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, I am a proud father of two and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

I like to stay active and can be found more often than not, in the gym and following a variety of sports, particularly Rugby, Football, Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. I also enjoy hiking and wild camping, taking every opportunity to get outdoors and explore new places.
