Why did you choose the law?

Whilst in secondary school, I completed work experience at a law firm, and at the end of it I knew I wanted a career in law. I also took a GCSE in law which I really enjoyed before taking A level law.

Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I completed my law degree at De Montfort University and graduated with a first, before going on to complete my legal practice course at De Montfort University where I gained a distinction.

I then completed my training contract at a boutique commercial firm in Leicestershire and qualified in March 2021. After qualifying, I joined Band Hatton Button in August 2021.

What does your day job look like?

My day can consist of a range of matters, I enjoy the variety of work that comes with working in a busy commercial property department.

I usually deal with sales and purchases of commercial property, landlord or tenant work, and prepare reports on title or lease reports.

What Do You Like to Do Outside of Work?

I enjoy attending classes at the gym, watching a good TV show or reading a book. I also enjoy going travelling and my favorite holidays were to New York and Perth.
