Why did you choose the law?

I grew up around a lot of lawyers in my family. I just knew from a young age that I was likely to choose a career in law or accounting. Considering I am no good at math, I ended up choosing to go down the legal career path.

Tell us a bit about how you got here…

I graduated at Aston University in Law with Management in 2016. I then went on to work at a few different law firms as a paralegal, gaining invaluable experience in commercial property matters, most specifically Real Estate Finance and Landlord and Tenant matters for well known retail clients.

What does your day job look like?

I am working with a varied case load and therefore I spend a lot of time drafting different legal documents including leases, reports on title, enquiries, and supplemental documents such as licences.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I have two wonderful children, a 2-year-old son and a 1-year-old daughter. I love spending time with them and taking them to try new activities on the weekends. Outside of being a mom, I enjoy creating art by painting canvasses and indulging in a little bit of pottery.
