Commercial Town and Country Planning

We work for and with developers, the business community, private individuals, landowners, and public authorities.

Our Town and Country Planning solicitors are in the business of persuading key decision makers about whether a particular development is a good thing or a bad thing.

We can act for people and businesses making planning proposals but can also represent those opposed to development proposals. Decisions are made using detailed laws, policies, guidelines and principles and it’s our job to understand them and use powers of persuasion and advocacy to advance our clients’ cases.

We handle work relating to large and small proposals, but we are often brought in to help in the more contentious aspects of planning applications, or with large scale developments, including those needing environmental appraisal. We also handle all kinds of planning appeals, following on from planning authority refusals.
